Mid lane touches everything: both jungles, the river, every early objective. When you are ahead, the whole map bends around you. Most Mid players stall because they treat the role as a 1v1 arena instead of the center of the game.

Clean mechanics are rarely the bottleneck. Shoving at the wrong time, roaming with nothing to gain, dying to a jungler you never tracked: these habits cap your rank no matter how well you hit skillshots.

A Mid lane coach watches your actual games and shows you the decision behind each death. You learn when to push for prio, when to roam, and when to just take the wave. The mechanics you already have start turning into LP.

What you'll work on

Wave Control

Shove, freeze, or slow push on purpose so every recall and roam happens on your terms.

Trading Windows

Trade when cooldowns and minions favor you, not whenever the enemy walks up.

Roam Timing

Leave on a crashed wave, take something real, and get back before you bleed XP.

Mid Priority

Turn a shoved wave into prio for scuttle, river fights, and objective setups.

Vision Habits

Ward the brush that covers the real gank path and read the fog instead of fearing it.

Recall Tempo

Time resets around item spikes so you walk back to lane a step ahead every time.

01

Prio Is Your Real Job

Prio means your wave hits the enemy tower first. The enemy mid has to answer it or bleed gold, and that buys you freedom: rotate to scuttle, cover your jungler, place a ward, match a roam. Whoever holds prio decides where the next fight happens.

Coaches train the sequence behind it. Check the objective timer, plan your waves two crashes ahead, shove as the spawn approaches, then move with purpose. And when you cannot win the shove, a quick ping telling your jungler you have no prio saves fights before they start.

02

Roams That Actually Pay Off

Every roam is a purchase. You spend waves and XP to buy a kill, an assist, plates, or a burned flash somewhere else, and if you buy nothing you still paid full price. That is why crashing your wave before leaving matters: the enemy mid has to farm it or lose it, so following you costs them too.

Good roam windows come from real signals, not boredom. An overextended bot wave, a low enemy flash, your jungler pathing toward a lane you can reach. A coach also fixes the return trip: catch the next wave, reset the lane state, and resist roaming again just because the last one felt great.

03

Dying Less to Junglers

Mid is the shortest lane with the most gank paths, and you cannot ward them all. So you track instead: note the jungler's start, watch which camps vanish, count how long since they last showed on the map. A shoved wave plus an unseen jungler is not bravery, it is a countdown.

A coach rebuilds the habit loop in your VODs. Glance at the map after every last hit, position off what you actually know, and ward the one brush that covers the current threat. Most deaths that feel random were visible on the map well before they happened.

Mid Lane mistakes we fix

  • Shoving the wave into fog with no wards, then calling every death a jungle diff.
  • Roaming right as the next wave arrives, so the enemy mid eats it for free.
  • Dumping your full combo on the wave and having nothing left when the gank shows.
  • Chasing a kill through two turrets while dragon spawns unwatched.
  • Skipping scuttle and river fights while sitting on a shoved wave at full HP.
  • Playing fifteen different champions and learning none of the matchups.

Suddzi is genuinely an amazing coach who helped me get from gold 3 to Plat 2 in under 3 months. I play ADC [not a role he specialized in] and he was still able to give over actionable items and role/champ specific recommendations that were…

Wave control, trading windows, roam timing, jungle tracking, and how to turn mid prio into objectives. Most coaches work through your own games in a VOD review or a live session over voice, so every lesson maps to how you actually play.

No. Coaches here work with everyone from Iron to Master and above. The fundamentals shift with elo, so a good coach meets you at your current rank and fixes what is actually costing you games.

Coaches set their own rates, starting around $10 per hour. Many offer bundles for multiple sessions, and some run free intro sessions so you can test the fit first.

You can filter coaches by champion and find someone who knows your pick inside out. Whether you play control mages, assassins, or something off meta, the fundamentals transfer and the matchup details come from a main.

VOD reviews are best for decisions you cannot see mid game, like roam timing and wave states. Live sessions catch habits as they happen, like trading patterns and recall timing. Many Mid players alternate between the two.

Yes. Getting camped is usually a wave state and vision problem, not bad luck. A coach teaches you to track the jungler, hold safer positions, and make the enemy's obsession with you a win for your side lanes.
