Tempo is how fast you convert camps into presence on the map. Every clear should end with a decision: gank, invade, reset, or start an objective setup. Junglers who stall usually clear fine, then wander, and that dead time is where games slip away.

A coach audits your loop in real games. When did each clear end, what play did you pick, and what did it cost in camps and time. Once the loop runs on habit, you stop reacting to the map and start setting its pace.

You can read the enemy jungler's start from leashes, level ups, and their first gank timing. From there, their next two camps are usually predictable. That knowledge turns their ganks into your counter ganks and their clears into your invades.

Coaches train you to play the opposite side of the map from a healthy enemy jungler and to punish the side they just left. One deep ward at a jungle entrance confirms what your read already suspected. Fewer coinflips, more free plays.

Objectives are won before they spawn. A real setup means nearby camps cleared in advance, a wave shoved for prio, and vision placed and swept around the pit. Arrive with all three and Dragon or Baron is often uncontested.

Smite discipline is the other half. Know your smite damage, hold it for the secure, and refuse fights where you have no vision and no numbers. Sometimes the best call is to concede the pit and take a tower or the enemy camps cross map.
